Behind the Scenes: About Owner and Senior Producer Thad Fenton

Sideline Entertainment LLC’s owner and senior producer, Thaddeus "Thad" George Fenton, has been a photographer most of his life and began making short Super 8mm films for fun with neighbor kids when he was in middle school.

While in college, Thad was a contributing photographer for Creighton University’s newspaper and yearbook, and was the yearbook photo editor for the 1978 edition.  During summer and holiday breaks, he worked at a film development photolab.

Fast forward to 2006, when Thad began professionally photographing Plano, Texas school sports, primarily football and softball.  In 2012, he expanded into high school sports season highlight video production, and since then has produced season highlight videos for Plano Senior High School Football, Plano Senior High School Softball, Plano Senior High School Women’s Basketball, R.L. Turner High School Volleyball, Berkner High School Volleyball, and South Garland High School Women’s Basketball.

Sideline Entertainment LLC was created in January 2019, for production of the documentary "One Family Two Sidelines," and ongoing North Texas high school sports video projects. 

Thad lives in Plano, Texas, with his wife, Pat, and continues to professionally photograph Plano high school and middle school sports action from the sidelines concurrently with his Sideline Entertainment video production.
