Behind the Scenes: About Sideline Entertainment's Alex Saurman

Hi! My name is Alex Saurman.

I’m the Chief Communications Officer for Sideline Entertainment, meaning a lot of what you read is from me. Although I handle other projects, like social media, website maintenance and merch design, my favorite focus of the job is writing.

For the past ten years, in one form or another, writing has been part of my life and career, like being a reporter for a local newspaper or working in communications, print and digital media or marketing.

No matter what I’m writing, my goal is to tell a story, whether that’s in a short and sweet LinkedIn post or a lengthy blog post. (Don’t worry, I’m almost done.) 

When Thad Fenton, who happens to be my father in law, asked me to help with communications for Sideline Entertainment’s newest project,“One Family Two Sidelines,” the answer was an obvious “yes.”

In my personal life, I enjoy hanging out with my husband (Thad’s youngest son) and two dogs, embroidering and playing board games. When football season rolls around, I have to cheer on my all-time favorite, 2018 Super Bowl winning team, the Philadelphia Eagles (sorry, Cowboys fans).
